AKRON – Tippecanoe Valley boys soccer took down Argos’ JV team in non-conference play Tuesday. The Vikings are now 6-7-1 this season.
Both Caleb Petgen and Jonathan Ruiz both scored two goal for Tippy Valley. Gio Arriaga scored the fifth goal to seal the victory over the outmatched Argos side.
The Vikings next game is against LaVille Thursday.
Wawasee Boys Soccer Falls To Northridge
SYRACUSE – Wawasee boys soccer suffered a tough loss at the hands of Northridge Tuesday, losing 8-0, The Warriors are now 4-11-1, 0-5 in Northern Lakes Conference play.
Northridge scored early and often in this one, taking a 6-0 lead into halftime. Sylvester Trujillo did the best he could in net, making over 10 saves.
Wawasee plays its next game Thursday against Plymouth.
Lakeland Christian Boys Soccer Loses To Culver Academies
CULVER – Lakeland Christian boys soccer came up short in its match with Culver Academies Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Courgars are now 5-8 this season, 0-4 in the NISC.
The attack of Class 2A No. 11 Culver was too much for LCA to handle, as the team gave up two goals in the first ten minutes. Braden Weirick made eleven saves in goal, but the cougar offense couldn’t provide any help, unable to get a shot on goal.
Lakeland Christian plays its next game Friday against Trinity.
Tippecanoe Valley Volleyball Defeats Marion
AKRON – Tippecanoe Valley volleyball took down Marion in straight sets Tuesday night, winning 25-12, 25-18, 25-19. The Lady Vikings are now 15-7 this season after the non-conference victory.
Tippy Valley takes on Wabash Thursday in its next action.
Manchester Volleyball Falls to Northfield
WABASH – Manchester volleyball dropped its conference match up with Northfield Tuesday, losing 18-25, 22-25, 21-25. The Lady Squires are now 5-14 this season, 1-6 in Three Rivers conference play.
Olivia Neal had five kills in the match, a team-high. Olivia Auler had two aces. Leading the team in assists was Kaidyn Howard with 10.
Manchester plays its next game Thursday against Southwood.
Whitko Volleyball Drops Match To Maconaquah
BUNKER HILL – Whitko volleyball dropped a conference game to Manconaquah Tuesday, falling 14-25, 16-25, 19-25. The Lady ‘Cats are now 8-16 this season, 2-5 in TRC play.
Abbi Frank and Audra Brandenburg each had seven kills, leading the team. Frank also led the team with eight kills. Reese Bradford had 10 assists, two aces and seven digs.
Whitko is back at home Thursday for Senior Night against Fort Wayne Canterbury.
Triton Volleyball Falls To Pioneer
ROYAL CENTER – Triton volleyball dropped its fourth consecutive match Tuesday, losing in straight sets 11-25, 13-25, 12-25. The Trojans are now 17-7, and 5-1 in Hoosier North play.
Addyson Viers led the team with seven kills. She also had the two lone aces for Triton. Maddie Doll led the team with 12 assists.
The Trojans play their next game Wednesday against Plymouth.
Warsaw Girls Soccer Ties Carroll
FORT WAYNE – Warsaw girls soccer managed a draw against Carroll Tuesday, with the final score being 0-0. The Tigers are now 9-6-1 this season.
Warsaw is back to conference play Thursday, taking on Northridge in NLC action.

BUNKER HILL – Tippecanoe Valley girls soccer dropped its game against Maconaquah Tuesday, falling 9-0. The Lady Vikings are now 1-8 this season after the non-conference match.
Tippy Valley is back in action Thursday against Peru.
Wawasee Girls Soccer Drops Match To Mishawaka
MISHAWAKA – Wawasee girls soccer was unable to get a road win Tuesday, coming up short in a 3-1 loss to conference foe Mishawaka. The Warriors are now 1-11-2 this season, 0-6 in NLC play.
The lone Wawasee goal was scored by Nadia Whalen. The Warriors are back in action Thursday against NorthWood.
