SOUTH WHITLEY – Whitko Community School's Cheer Program and the Whitko Blue Crew are hosting a homecoming parade along South Whitley's Mulberry Street to the Whitko Junior/Senior High School on Friday.

The plan is for as many people as possible to parade through town and into the Ryan Huff Memorial Football Field just in time for Whitko's marching pride to play the school song and the “Star Spangled Banner.”

Line-up is at the corner of Mulberry and State streets, by Crossroads Bank and the Subway restaurant, at 6 p.m.

Participation is open to all Wildcat fans: members of the community, parents, students, sports teams, Whitko staff, teachers and school board members, the 2021 Homecoming Court.

For more information, call Kacey Anderson, Pierceton teacher and head cheerleading coach, at 574-594-2210, Ext. 5103, or email at [email protected].
