A prayer vigil will be held at the Eisenhower Elementary flag pole at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday for Eisenhower paraprofessional Abbey Hagan.

Eisenhower Principal Jenna Moree said the vigil is to support Hagan through this difficult time of experiencing a medical issue, though Moree wasn’t comfortable specifying what the medical issue was.

Moree said Hagan has been working at Eisenhower for a long time and is very well-known person in the community. There were some community members and Eisenhower staff that decided to put the vigil on.

Denny Wilson, founding pastor of Warsaw Community Church, will lead everyone in prayer.

Moree said she thinks it a wonderful thing to show support and it’s important for people to realize they’re not alone.
