Dianna Jean Shoemaker, age 76, of Warsaw, passed away at 10:02 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 18, 2021, at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.

Born on July 12, 1945, in Milford, Dianna was daughter of Bevon and Bertha Mishler Crafton.

She was a 1963 graduate of Milford High School and a lifetime resident of Indiana. After retiring from Marsh Supermarket in Warsaw, she volunteered her time at the VFW Post #1126 every Sunday morning and was an active member of the Moose Lodge. Dianna loved crocheting, gardening and especially loved being a mother and a grandmother.

Dianna is survived by her three children, Todd (Theresa) Shoemaker, of Warsaw; Cheryl (Brian) Spratt, of Silver Lake; Jennifer (Matt) Powell, of Ocala, Fla.; brother, James (Norma) Crafton; her 14 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in passing by both of her parents; her husband, Gary Shoemaker; and her granddaughter, Aurora.

A visitation is planned from 3 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 23 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw. A funeral service in celebration of her life will begin at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 24 in the funeral chapel. Chaplain Johnny Butler will be officiating. Interment will be at a later date.    

Masks are optional, and social distancing is encouraged. No food is permitted at this time.
