Warsaw Class Of 1956 Met

Members of the Warsaw High School class of 1956 met Sept. 11 at the Nye Youth Cabin Warsaw for the 65th class reunion.

Blacktie Catering provided the banquet after which the class were entertained with the duet of Jerry Frush and Harry Gigous singing “We got married last Friday” and “On her back was Brazil.” The two songs were followed by each classmate telling what they had done from the time of graduation until Sept. 11.

Those attending were Frank and Barbara Elrod, Janice Cozzi Engelbreth, Jerry and Julia Frush, Dave Fuller, Harry and Barb Gigous, Annabelle Amstutz Humphrey, Tom and Allegra Kemper Simpson, Jim and Carolyn Phillips Leath, Dee Stone Lewis, Martha Fawley Light, Dale and Karen Long, Jerry and Kay Wertenberg Lowe, Denny and Karel Mulcahy, daughter and granddaughter Jerry and Ruth Cameron Rathbun, Georgia Scott Venable and daughter, Bill and Molly Phillips Warren and Bruce and Ruth Whiteneck.

The class’s next meeting will be at noon Oct. 19 at Martin’s Grocery on the second floor. Teachers, friends and spouses of classmates are all welcome to attend.
