The Beta Zeta Chapter of Delta Theta Tau Sorority met Sept. 1 and was hosted by Barb VanCuren.

The meeting was opened by President Brenda Arnold who also led the group through their regular business.

The sisters have continued their summer projects of sewing walker totes and lap blankets for The Cancer Center and Grace Village.  Taggies for children were made and delivered to Heartline and Healthy Families.  Two of the sisters reported working at the Claypool Closet and stated more volunteers are needed through this school year.

Next meeting will be Oct. 6 hosted by Jean Whitenack.  Butterbraid sales begin after that meeting in October for delivery before Thanksgiving.

This year a new product will be sold with the butterbraids, frozen cake rolls.  The sisters sell these as one way to provide funds for our philanthropic projects.

Anyone interested in joining the philanthropic organization can contact Marcia Randolph at 574-527-1612.
