Tippecanoe Valley Boys Soccer Defeats North Miami
DENVER, Ind. – Tippecanoe Valley boys soccer snapped a two-game losing streak with a 3-1 victory over North Miami Tuesday night. The victory moves the Vikings record to 2-4-1 this fall.
Tippecanoe Valley received a big boost, getting junior Jon Ruiz back from a two-week injury. Ruiz provided the spark, scoring two first half goals. Sophomore Gio Arriaga added a goal as well. The game was shortened with about 24 minutes left due to inclement weather.
The Vikings play their next game against Marion Thursday.
Lakeland Christian Boys Soccer Falls To Blackhawk Christian
FORT WAYNE – Lakeland Christian boys soccer dropped a contest to Blackhawk Christian Tuesday night. The Cougars are now 2-5 this season.
The bright spot for LCA came from goalkeeper Braden Weirick, who made eight saves in the match. The Cougars could only manage one shot on goal.
LCA plays its next game Thursday against Lakewood Park.
Manchester Boys Soccer Gets Win Over Rochester
NORTH MANCHESTER – Manchester boys soccer picked up a convincing 4-1 victory over Rochester Tuesday night. The Squires are now 4-3 this season.
Manchester was led by senior Owen Kruschwitz, who scored two goals in the game. He also added an assist. Junior Michael Ortiz and sophomore Tyler McLain both scored as well.
Manchester plays at home against Eastbrook Thursday.
Warsaw Volleyball Defeats Northridge
MIDDLEBURY – Warsaw Volleyball picked up a road victory over Northridge Tuesday night, winning in straight sets 25-17, 25-15, 25-21. The Tigers move to 9-8 this season, and are on a six game win streak.
Junior captain Avery Hales was everywhere, picking up 25 assists, six kills and a block, all team highs. Sophomore Melaina Hawblitzel led the team with six aces.
The Tigers play their next game at a tournament Saturday.

AKRON – Tippecanoe Valley volleyball picked up a straight set victory over North Miami Tuesday, 25-11, 25-19, 25-17. The Lady Vikings move to 8-2 this fall.
Senior Mallory Durkes and freshman Mackaylie Costello led the team with four kills apiece. Senior Brayden Baney led the team with eleven assists.
Tippy Valley takes on Triton Thursday night.
Triton Volleyball Defeats North Judson
BOURBON – Triton volleyball picked up a 3-1 win over North Judson-San Pierre Tuesday, 26-24, 25-23, 16-25, 25-22. The Trojans move to 7-3 on the season.
Sophomore Addyson Viers led the team with 14 kills, and tied junior Morgan Feldman with five blocks. Senior Maddie Doll had a team-high 21 assists, and senior Taren Yates had 18 digs.
Triton takes on Tippecanoe Valley Thursday.
Whitko Volleyball Falls To Peru
SOUTH WHITLEY – Whitko volleyball was defeated in straight sets by Peru Tuesday, 25-27, 19-25, 21-25. Whitko falls to 4-10 this season.
Sophomore Audra Brandenburg had a team-high 16 kills, and also added ten digs. Senior captain Reese Bradford picked up 18 assists.
The Lady ‘Cats travel to Manchester Thursday.

NORTH MANCHESTER – Manchester volleyball suffered a straight set loss to Columbia City Tuesday, 11-25, 12-25, 9-25. The Lady Squires move to 2-6 this season.
Sophomore Paxton Baker led the team with ten assists. McKelvey Espeset had a team-high four kills.
Manchester hosts Whitko Thursday.
Warsaw Boys Tennis Falls To Northridge
WARSAW – Warsaw boys tennis dropped a contest to Northridge 3-2 Tuesday. The Tigers record falls to 3-4 this season.
Warsaw picked up a victory in the singles competition from Will Boren. Boren won 6-3, 4-6, 6-2. The Tigers also picked up a win in doubles, with Jack Reed and Patrick Stump winning 6-3, 6-1.
Wawasee Boys Tennis Drops Match To Goshen
GOSHEN – Wawasee boys tennis dropped a match to Goshen Tuesday 5-0. The Warriors are now 8-6 this fall.
The Warriors were unable to win a match throughout the tournament. Wawasee returns home to face Northridge Thursday.
