There will be no door-to-door trick-or-treating in Claypool this year. The Council voted to close off Main Street from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Oct. 31 for a trunk-or-treat event. Someplace Saloon will offer chili and hotdogs and a kids’ bike giveaway.
Town Marshal Ben Sanders reported 111 calls for service and 147 reserve hours in September. Two reserve officers resigned Monday and Sanders is working on filling the open positions.
The Council will next meet at 7 p.m. Nov. 16.
