Some say success feels better after hardship. In 2020, Warsaw went 1-12-3 under first year head coach Ryan Burgher, 0-5-1 in the NLC. The team flipped that script on its head this year, sitting at 12-4-1, and unbeaten in conference play, 6-0-1.
As for the game itself, the Tigers were led by a player that has found the back of the net all season long. Noah VanPuffelan scored two goals in the game. Also finding the score sheet were Nate Dailey and Eduardo Escutia.
With the first piece of hardware from the 2021 season secured, Warsaw will play in the Goshen sectional Wednesday.
