• 3:18 p.m. Monday - Gilberto Rangel, 43, of 9462 N. Ind. 19, #23, Etna Green, arrested for probation violation. Bond: $15,250.

• 5:31 p.m. Monday - Gregory Keith Parks, 40, of 105 S. James St., Milford, arrested for possession of methamphetamine. Bond: $5,250.

• 4:17 a.m. Tuesday - Kyera Tylee Homewood, 21, of 3867 N. Ind. 15, Apt. 2, Warsaw, arrested for possession of marijuana/hash oil/hashish. Bond: $600.

• 9:51 a.m. Tuesday - Kevin M. Kelley, 63, Indianapolis, arrested for reckless homicide. Bond: $10,250.

• 12:21 p.m. Tuesday - Antione Marshon Brewer, 28, Fort Wayne, arrested for failure to appear. Bond: $5,000.

• 12:42 p.m. Tuesday - Christopher Charles Simpson, 46, Lafayette, arrested for probation violation. No bond set.

• 1:07 p.m. Tuesday - Ryan Joshua McKinney, 26, Columbia City, arrested on a warrant. Bond: $5,000.

• 2:20 p.m. Tuesday - Kevin Yousef Dwayne Hudson, 26, of 8 M Dee Acres, Nappanee, arrested for domestic battery in the presence of a child less than 16 years of age. Bond: $1,000.



Property Damage Accidents

• 3:21 p.m. Monday - West Crystal Lake Road, 3,000 feet west of South Zimmer Road, Warsaw. Car hit a fiber optic line in the road and a street sign. Driver: Rachel D. Haney, 38, North CR 1200E, Akron. Damage: $10,000-$25,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated.

• 5:08 p.m. Monday - Intersection of North Parker and East Main streets, Warsaw. Two-car collision. Drivers: Shunmuka V. Guttula, 28, West Prairie Street, Warsaw; Michael P. Stull, 35, Yukon, Okla. Damage: $1,000-$2,500. Warsaw Police Department investigated.

• 6:04 a.m. Tuesday - U.S. 30, 250 feet east of Springhill Road, Warsaw. Van hit deer. Driver: Gregory A. Rice, 59, Fort Wayne. Damage: $10,000-$25,000. WPD.

• 11:39 p.m. Monday - Damaged Property with shots fired was reported in the 8300 block of East CR 900N, Syracuse. KCSO.

• 12:30 a.m. Tuesday - The theft of a firearm was reported in the 9800 block of North CR 500E, Syracuse. KCSO.

• 3:33 a.m. Tuesday - A person was arrested for possession of marijuana/hash oil/hashish in the 100 block of Lake City Highway, Warsaw. WPD.

Warsaw Gets Past Goshen On Penalty Kicks, Advances
A September match between the Warsaw and Goshen girls soccer teams resulted in a 1-1 tie after a hard-fought match. Tuesday night, the two teams met for a second time on a much bigger stage: the opening round of the 3A girls soccer sectional tournament at Elkhart High School. With a winner having to emerge this time around, it came down to penalty kicks, with the Lady Tigers winning 5-3 after a 0-0 tie.
