• 2:02 p.m. Sunday - Kayla Joy Losee, 28, of 3750 Lake City Hwy., Apt. A, Warsaw, arrested for possession of marijuana/hash oil/hashish, failure to appear and possession of paraphernalia. Bond: $1,000.

• 6:47 p.m. Sunday - Douglas W. Diemer, 56, of 1520 E. Winona Ave., Warsaw, arrested for resisting law enforcement. Bond: $5,250.

• 10:07 p.m. Sunday - Shasta Nichole Daniels, 28, of 110 S. Main St., #21, Claypool, arrested for possession of marijuana/hash oil/hashish, driving while suspended with a prior suspension and operating a motor vehicle with a controlled substance in the body. Bond: $700.

• 10:39 p.m. Sunday - Chad P. Partridge, 42, of 1152 E. Lantern Road, Warsaw, arrested for resisting law enforcement and disorderly conduct. Bond: $750.

• 11:06 p.m. Sunday - Samantha Joann Guess, 34, homeless, arrested for disorderly conduct, resisting law enforcement and possession of methamphetamine. Bond: $5,250.

• 12:26 a.m. Monday - Johnnie Lee Gipson IV, 20, Elkhart, arrested for reckless driving. Bond; $500.

• 9:36 a.m. Monday - Chase Chiloa Davis, 31, of 706 S. Kinder Drive, Syracuse, arrested for theft. Bond: $600.

Gates, 29, North Parker Street, Warsaw; Manuela Vallejo, 49, Cambridge Drive, Warsaw. Injury: Gates complained of pain to the lower arm. Damage: $10,000-$25,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated.

• 3:09 a.m. Saturday - Officers initiated a traffic stop that led to an arrest for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and possession of methamphetamine in the 400 block of East Pope Street, Warsaw. KCSO.

• 8:42 a.m. Saturday - A person reported their windshield being damaged while traveling on the roadway in the 300 block of West Emeline Street, Milford. KCSO.

• 3:11 p.m. Saturday - A drug overdose was reported in the 5000 block of East Armstrong Road, Leesburg. KCSO.

• 3:14 p.m. Saturday - A horse and buggy that was parked at a credit union in Syracuse became spooked and broke away from the fence it was tied to. The runaway horse and buggy caused damage to the fence at the credit union, a restaurant sign and a parked vehicle in the 700 block of South Huntington Street, Syracuse. SPD.

• 3:58 p.m. Saturday - A traffic stop was conducted in the 700 block of East Center Street, Warsaw, and the driver was arrested for driving while suspended. Winona Lake Police Department investigated.

• 7:20 p.m. Saturday - A person was arrested for possession of marijuana/hash oil/hashish in the 6400 block of East McKenna Road, Warsaw. KCSO.

• 7:53 p.m. Saturday - A person was arrested on a warrant in the 300 block of South Harding Street, Warsaw. WPD.

Warsaw Gets Past Goshen On Penalty Kicks, Advances
A September match between the Warsaw and Goshen girls soccer teams resulted in a 1-1 tie after a hard-fought match. Tuesday night, the two teams met for a second time on a much bigger stage: the opening round of the 3A girls soccer sectional tournament at Elkhart High School. With a winner having to emerge this time around, it came down to penalty kicks, with the Lady Tigers winning 5-3 after a 0-0 tie.
