Shirley Ann Bell, 69, of Warsaw, formerly of Westville, Ill., passed away at 2 a.m. Monday, Nov. 1, 2021, at Kosciusko Community Hospital in Warsaw.

She was born on Dec. 31, 1951, in Danville, Ill., the daughter of Merl and Rose Emery Clauson. She married Terry Wayne Bell on May 15, 1971, in Georgetown, Ill. She was preceded in death by her husband, Terry; parents: Rose and Merl; and sister, Connie.

Shirley lived a full life as a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, dance teacher and friend. She founded Shirley Bell’s School of Dance and was a talented dance teacher. Shirley touched so many lives through her passion of dance for over 35 years. She also loved to teach Western Dancing with her husband Terry. After her retirement from dance school, Shirley worked for Lifeline, helping youth and families through challenging times and encouraging faith. She was able to impact the lives of so many people in the image of God. Shirley loved to relax by the pool on a nice summer day and enjoyed vacationing in Florida and Mexico. Most of all, she loved her family and friends, she will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

Surviving are one son, Tim Bell, of Warsaw; two daughters: Sherri (Jacob) Makinson, of Warsaw; and Julie (Romney) Large, of Andrews; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. EST Monday, Nov. 8 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel in Warsaw. A funeral service will follow at 6 p.m. in the funeral chapel with Dan Binkley officiating the service.

Masks are optional, and social distancing is encouraged. No food is permitted at this time.
