Claypool To Hold Sunday School

CLAYPOOL – Claypool United Methodist Church, 302 E. Section St., Claypool, will have Sunday school at 9:30 a.m. and church services at 10:30 a.m. Sunday.

Devotions are every Wednesday from 4:45 to 5:30 p.m.

Pastor Nelson's sermon is titled "Plenty of Room."

All Saints Day will be held Sunday at worship.

A drive-through dinner will be Nov. 5 from 4 to 7 p.m.

Turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, dressing, vegetables, a roll and dessert will be offered.  Donations will be accepted.



Mission IV To Perform At Warsaw Family Worship Church

Artists-songwriters Mission IV from Ohio will perform at Warsaw Family Worship Center, 1250 Husky Trail, at 6 p.m. Sunday.  Freewill offering will be taken.  

People can bring nonperishable food for the local food pantry.

Memorial Recognition Service Held At Beaver Dam UMC Sunday

AKRON – Service times for Beaver Dam United Methodist Church, 9798 W. CR 1000S, Akron, are 9 and 10:31 a.m. Sunday with refreshments served from 10 to 10:30 a.m.

On Sunday, there will be an All Saints Sunday - memorial recognition service.

Wheels on Fire will be providing an appreciation "brunch" following the 10:31 a.m. service for the support in 2021.

On Nov. 12, youth group will be held at Akron United Methodist Church from 7 to 10 p.m.



God’s Highway Church To Hold Auction

God’s Highway To Heaven Church, 555 Webber St., Warsaw, will hold its annual auction Saturday.

Food will be at 4 p.m. and the auction will start at 5 p.m.

New and used items, gift certificates, furniture, crafts, baked goods and food concessions will be available.

Free Talk Held At First Church Of Christ Scientist In December

The public is invited to a free talk on Dec. 18  at 11 a.m. at First Church of Christ Scientist, 1011 Mariners Drive, Warsaw.  

The talk is titled, "Learn How to Pray and Heal, A Spiritual Adventure," given by Nathan Frederick, a Christian Science practitioner.  

Child care will be provided.

Herron Delivers Message For All Saints Sunday At Mentone UMC

MENTONE – The public is invited to join  Mentone United Methodist Church, 116 E. Main St., Mentone, on Sunday at 10:15 a.m., “All Saints Sunday,”  as Rev. Jeff  Herron, presents the message “Remembering Jesus.”

The church offers an early bird adult Sunday school class at 8:45 a.m. At 10:15 a.m., along with worship service, Mentone UMC offers Sunday Bible school for children ages 5 through fifth grade and Wee Kids Worship for ages newborn to 4 years old.   

On Wednesday nights, the church has its Feast & Fellowship program, which includes a light meal and a time of singing, worship and studying God’s word. It is held in the fellowship hall of the church.   All middle school and high school youth are invited to enjoy the meal and worship and then break off for their own time of learning and fellowship. The church also have a special program for all children ages newborn to fifth grade after the meal and worship.

Mentone UMC also has a women’s Bible study at 9 a.m. on Wednesdays at Java Jacks.
