North Webster Church Of God Donates $25,000 To JCAP

The money was raised by the congregation during the church’s annual Be Rich campaign.
The contribution will be used to strengthen JCAP programming, curriculum and supply acquisition, according to a news release from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office. Church members also volunteered to assist with inmate educational courses at both the county jail and work release center.
Dukes and Jenkins initially shared program details with the church elders in the spring. The next step occurred Oct. 3 when they were guest speakers during all three church services.
According to Jenkins, “It was an honor to raise awareness and stress the importance of breaking the addiction stigma with the church attendees. The lives of the inmates and their families will be changed because of this offering.”
“This is the largest financial contribution we have received for JCAP. I want to express my sincere gratitude to the North Webster Church of God for their generosity and compassion,” said Dukes.
