He was born on Feb. 2, 1972, in Syracuse, to Graham R. and Wilma G. Goins Meier.
He graduated from Warsaw Community High School and lived most of his life in the Syracuse area until he moved to Elkhart and South Bend/Mishawaka area in 2016. He formerly worked at Cardinal Center in Warsaw for five years and Pilcher’s Shoes in North Webster. He was a member of the Wawasee Heights Baptist Church in Syracuse.
He is survived by two sisters: Katherine (Phil Herbertz) Parker, of Plainfield; and Carol Spires, of South Bend; two brothers: Gary Meier, of Fort Wayne; and Jerry Meier, of Scottsburg; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. Ind. 15, Warsaw. Visitation will be from 12 to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 6 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse. Memorial services will follow at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 6 in the funeral home with Pastor Pat Park officiating. Private family burial will take place in the Syracuse Cemetery at a later date.
