Steve and Sherrie Jackson Plummer, Mentone, will celebrate their 30th anniversary June 8.

They were married June 8, 1991, at the home of Rev. Jack Worth in Warsaw.

Sherrie is retired from Zimmer Biomet after 43 years of service and Steve is retired from the electrical supply business. The couple are members of Pathway Church in Warsaw.

They have two children: Brandon (Pamela) Reed, of South Whitley; and Roger and (Andrea) Reed, of Warsaw. They have two granddaughters: Sadie and Cora Reed.

The couple will celebrate their 30th anniversary with dinner at The Factory in Fort Wayne and a trip to Gatlinburg, Tenn., later this summer.

The Tippecanoe Valley girls’ win on Tuesday night wasn’t the prettiest, but at this time of year that doesn’t matter. The team was able to survive and advance with a victory in the opening game of the 3A Sectional Tournament at Fairfield, pulling away late to defeat West Noble 40-19.
