Warsaw Community Schools selected Todd Braddock as the principal of Lakeview Middle School, pending school board approval.

Braddock graduated from Warsaw Community High School in 2004. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in education from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2008. With the help of a School Improvement Grant, Braddock earned a certification in high ability and his Master of Science in educational leadership in 2018, according to a news release from WCS.

Braddock began his teaching career at Kesling Middle School in LaPorte during the 2010-11 school year. The next year, he returned to WCS where he taught both seventh- and eighth-grade U.S. history at Lakeview Middle School. For the past three years, Braddock has served in the role of assistant principal and athletic director at Lakeview Middle School. He and his wife, Miranda, have two children at Jefferson Elementary School, Winona Lake.

"With your help, we formed questions for candidates based on critical needs, wishes and hopes for the future of our school and Todd proved in those interviews that he was ready, capable and excited for this opportunity," said Dr. Dani Barkey, assistant superintendent of secondary education.

"I am extremely humbled and blessed to have the opportunity to serve as the next principal at Lakeview Middle School. I've spent nearly my entire career at LMS and have a deep passion and care for our students, their families and our staff. There is no greater joy for me as a leader than to see our students and school be successful. I am deeply committed to ensuring that all students are learning at a high level and I am excited about continuing the strong foundation that has been established over the last six years. Mrs. (Amy) Sivley has been a great mentor to me and has left our school in a great spot to continue to grow and move forward in the future. I am very thankful for her leadership and guidance,” Braddock said.

The search committee will now focus on the open position of assistant principal and athletic director for Lakeview Middle School, stated the release.
