SYRACUSE – Lynda Lou Thornburg, 72, of Syracuse, passed away at 1:14 a.m. on Monday, April 26, 2021, at her home.

She was born on May 14, 1948, in Goshen, to Glen and Harriet Baker Biller. She was a lifetime Syracuse area resident and attended Syracuse High School.

She retired from Skyline Corp. in Elkhart after 20-plus years as a plant manager and formerly worked at Syracuse Rubber Company.

She is survived by her daughter, Trisha Thornburg, of Syracuse; two sons, Tracy (Traci) Thornburg, of Peoria, Ariz.; and Troy Thornburg, of Syracuse; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Tara Thornburg; and sister, Glenda Byrd

Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. Ind. 15, Warsaw. A Celebration of Life gathering will take place at a later date. Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, is in charge of arrangements.
