Phillip M. "Phil" Albert, 71, of Pierceton, passed away at 2:01 p.m. on Monday, March 29, 2021, at his home.

He was born on May 6, 1949, in Warsaw, to Ernest Calvin and Erma Ione Trump Albert.

He was a lifetime Pierceton area resident and graduated in 1967 from Pierceton High School. He was married on Oct. 27, 1967, in Pierceton, to Diana L. Leckrone, who survives, and he retired from Dalton Foundry in Warsaw after 35 years.

He is survived by wife, Diana Albert, of Pierceton; two sons: Mike (Beth) Albert, of Brandon, Mo.; and Brian (Michele) Albert, of Warsaw; four grandchildren: Jamie Albert, Justin Albert, Rich (Angie) Wade and Beau (Stasha) Wade; eight great-grandchildren: Sierra, Rayne, Trinity, Kayli, Chloe, Piper, Arya, Azlynne; sister, Pat Byrer, of Pensacola, Fla.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. Ind. 15, Warsaw. No public services will be held. A private celebration of life service will be at a later date.
