Area Boys Named First Team All-NLC

The overall first team selection field had a greater-than-usual mix of sophomores (four) and juniors (four) among the twelve first team honorees. The number of underclassmen selected this season is testimony to the NLC’s impressive level of returning talent.
First-year Warsaw Tiger head basketball coach Matt Moore shared Co-Coach of the Year Honors with Mishawaka’s Ron Hecklinski. Their respective teams tied for first place in the NLC, each posting 6-1 league won-loss records. Wawasee finished seventh with a 1-6 league finish.
Triton’s Tyson Yates- was named HNAC? Conference MVP while teammate Ashton Oviedo joined him as First Team All-Conference. John Gardner, Bruce Johnson and Cole McKinney earned ?honorable mention honors.
Lakeland Christian Academy’s Landon Gause earned First Team All-Conference honors in the Hoosier Plains Conference.
