Joyce was born May 11, 1954, in Prestonsburg, Ky., to Earl and Martha Marie Gibson Miller. She was united in marriage to Ricky Poe on Feb. 23, 1973, in Warsaw.
She graduated from Warsaw Community High School. One of her favorite hobbies was gardening. She worked as a lab tech for Spartech from 1972 to 2013, retiring with 41 years of service.
Joyce is survived by her husband, Ricky Poe, of Warsaw; children: Jason (Amy) Poe, and Jesse (Amanda) Poe, both of Warsaw; and siblings: Thomas Gibson, of Warsaw, and Martha Gangwer, of Goshen. In addition, she is survived by three grandchildren, Shelby, Jackson and Natalie Poe.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Deloris Wright.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 17 at 11 a.m. in?Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, with Chaplain Bob Jarboe officiating.
McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, is entrusted with arrangements for the family.
