It is time to thank many people who worked to make the Mentone Egg Festival a huge success this year.

It is a Mentone Chamber of Commerce-sponsored event. This year, many local and area businesses supported our event, which let us offer much more. Tim Croy did a great job of securing those donations.

A special thanks goes to each of you who donated. The list is posted on the Facebook page.

Our board members really stepped up again this year, and not only fulfilled their obligations, but helped with new events. The Chamber board members are Karen Francis, Krystal Lybarger, Anna Stiles, Cookie Gakstatter, Tim Croy, Niki Norris, Shaun Fultz and Rita Simpson.

Special thanks goes out to Shaun Fultz and her family for our new Family Feud event. The list of families for next year is long.

A special thanks to Jim and the volunteers in our police department, Josh and the street department, the Four Way EMS and their volunteers and our Mentone Fire Department.

Thank you goes to Chris McClone and his electric crew. Tim Croy took on the set-ups and vendors coming to town. Everything went smoothly.

It was a great Egg Festival this year. We thank all of you who came to enjoy it and plans are already underway for next year.
