NORTH MANCHESTER – North Manchester United Methodist Church, 306 E.?Second St., North Manchester, will host a baked steak dinner on June 11 from 4 p.m. until sold out. The dinner will be drive-thru only. The public is invited, and the cost is a free-will donation.
Claypool UMC To Hold Reception For Pastor
CLAYPOOL – Claypool United Methodist Church, 302 E. Section St., Claypool, will have Sunday school at 9:30 a.m. and church services at 10:30 a.m. Sunday.
There will be an after-church reception Sunday for Pastor Victor Seewald as it is his last Sunday at the church.
Gospel Hill food pantry, 303 S. Jefferson St., Silver Lake will be open June 17.
Leesburg UMC To Hold Lakeside Service
LEESBURG – Leesburg United Methodist Church, 111 W. Prairie St., Leesburg, will host a lakeside service Sunday at Patona Bay on Tippecanoe Lake at 8:30 a.m.
The guest musician this week is Steve Stahly, who is married to Deb Stahly. This summer they will celebrate 49 years of marriage. As of January, first both are retired as Steve joined Deb in retirement at the beginning of the year. They have three grown children and four grandchildren.
Guests are welcome to join the church on the water or on land.
