• 11:30 a.m. Tuesday - John Verner Rogers Jr., 33, Peru, Ind., arrested for theft of auto parts. Bond: $5,500.

• 11:34 p.m. Tuesday - Laila Rose Gillard, 36, of 812 E. Clark St., Warsaw, arrested for operating a vehicle with a controlled substance in body - first offense. Bond: $700.

• 2:09 p.m. Tuesday - Angel Jessica Mingucha, 19, Elkhart, arrested for misdemeanor battery. Bond: $600.

• 2:36 p.m. Tuesday - Melissa Rae Byers, 48, of 11080 S. CR 100E, Claypool, arrested for intimidation and domestic battery with a deadly weapon. No bond set.

• 2:45 p.m. Tuesday - David D. Gill, 44, of 216 W. Walnut St., #7, Etna Green, arrested for residential entry. Bond: $5,250.

• 3:28 p.m. Tuesday - Amanda Nadene Perkins, 32, of 212 S. Union St., #B, Warsaw, arrested for domestic battery - simple assault. Bond: $1,000.

• 4:36 p.m. Tuesday - Lindsey Raqual Clark, 30, Coldwater, Mich., arrested for possession of marijuana/hash oil/hashish. Bond: $600.

• 12:38 a.m. Wednesday - Amanda Marie Kidd, 24, of 3540 N. CR 1025W, Cromwell, arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting law enforcement. No bond set.

• 10:29 a.m. Wednesday - James Rosco Hoover, 41, of 5901 S. East Channel Road, Warsaw, arrested for misdemeanor probation violation. No bond set.

• 11:41 a.m. Wednesday - Elaine Fay Smith, 39, of 322 N. CR 900E, Pierceton, arrested for misdemeanor battery. Bond: $600.

• 11:44 a.m. Wednesday - Aaron Jay Robarts, 24, of 1692 E. CR 200N, Warsaw, arrested for misdemeanor battery. Bond: $600.

• 4:07 p.m. Tuesday - North CR 800W, 750 feet north of West CR 640N, Etna Green. Two-car collision. Drivers: David P. Green, 28, West CR 100N, Warsaw; Bruce A. Berkey, 67, North CR 950W, Nappanee. Damage: $5,000-$10,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated.

• 1:32 a.m. Wednesday - East CR 200N, 1,000 feet east of North CR 100E, Warsaw. Car hit deer. Driver: Philip R. Cox, 18, East Epworth Forest Road, North Webster. Damage: $750-$1,000. KCSO.

Divide And Conquer
Editor, Times-Union: It is glaringly obvious to anyone with functioning brain cells that today’s MAGA (formerly known as the Grand Old Party) has only one strategy to win the 2024 election: divide and conquer and pull the wool over the voting public’s eyes. Their playbook consists of misinformation, distortion of facts, projections, conspiracy theories and plain old bald-faced lies. If they cannot find damning evidence of lawlessness or evil deeds in their opponents’ resumes, they just make something up: Kamala’s intelligence or race, Tim’s real pet dog or his mysterious connection to China; Biden’s unwillingness to help America’s catastrophe victims.
