SYRACUSE – Robert "Bob" Richards, 79, of Leesburg, passed away on Tuesday, July 13, 2021, at his home.  

He was born on March 1, 1942, in Wolf Lake, to Glen and Helen Myers Richards. On Nov. 16, 1963, he married Sylvia Broxon, who survives. Bob owned and operated Pierceton Rotary Drilling for 50 years before retiring. He was a member of the North Webster American Legion S.A.L Post 253, the North Webster Lions Club, as well as the Cromwell Masonic Lodge.  

Bob is survived by his wife, Sylvia Richards, of Leesburg; son, Brad (Celeste) Richards, of Leesburg; daughter, Chris Richards, Crowe, of Lima, Ohio; two granddaughters: Natalie and Hannah; four brothers: Roger, Rex, Ronnie and Rick; and several nieces and nephews.  

He was preceded by his sister, Mary Lou.  

Visitation will be Friday, July 16 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Eastlund Funeral Home, Syracuse. Services will be on Saturday, July 17 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Brad Cox officiating. Burial will follow at the North Webster Cemetery/Mock Addition.
