Jerry Allen Rosbrugh, age 78, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 5, 2021, at 12:30 a.m. in his Pierceton home.

Jerry was born Feb. 13, 1943, in Warsaw and was the son of Gerald and Lillie Winsley Rosbrugh. On April 9, 1966, he was married to Diane Cox.

Jerry was a lifetime Pierceton resident. He retired in 2002 from Pierceton Trucking/Diamond Fleet Trucking. His hobbies included fishing, cutting wood and playing cards with his friends at the Pierceton American Legion.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Diane, of 55 years; one son, Jerry L. Rosbrugh, of Warsaw; a daughter, Penny (Joe) Sands, of Silver Lake; four grandchildren: J.C. Rosbrugh, of Huntington; KaeLee (Cameron) Riley, of New Paris; Bryce (Karis) Sands, of Silver Lake; and Weston Sands, of Silver Lake; three great-grandchildren: Corbin, Cooper and Laityn Riley, all of New Paris. Also surviving are three siblings: Cindy Wennestrom, of Plymouth; Annette (Jerry) Sheets, of Columbia City; Christie Gibson, of Pierceton; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters: Cheryl Freeman and Diana Bailey; and a brother, Terry Johnson.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation will take place and a private graveside burial will be later in the future.

Heritage Funeral and Cremation Services in Warsaw was entrusted with his care.
