• 10:27 a.m. Tuesday - Luis Ignacio Hernandez, 21, of 8280 E. U.S. 30, #111, Warsaw, arrested for misdemeanor failure to appear. Bond: $5,000.

• 12:59 p.m. Tuesday - Monica Paola Rangel, 23, of 304 S. Jefferson St., #B, Silver Lake, arrested for misdemeanor failure to appear. Bond: $5,000.

• 1:44 p.m. Tuesday - Melvin Ortiz Cruz, 26, of 2221 Heather Court, Warsaw, arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Bond: $700.

• 1:45 p.m. Tuesday - Jason Patrick Spriggs, 39, of 802 Thorn St., North Manchester, arrested on five charges of felony failure to appear and check deception. No bond set.

• 3:59 p.m. Tuesday - Patricia Lee Dailey, 45, Chicago, arrested for possession of cocaine or a narcotic drug. Bond: $5,250.

• 4:11 p.m. Tuesday - Kole Forrest Adams, 26, of 70837 Tecumseh Drive, Nappanee, arrested for felony probation violation. Bond: $15,250.

• 6:10 p.m. Tuesday - Kevin Michael Klaehn, 28, Albion, arrested for burglary. Bond: $15,250.

• 11:39 p.m. Tuesday - Mary Jo Pamer, 41, of 15300 U.S. Highway 6, Syracuse, arrested for driving while suspended with a prior suspension. Bond: $450.

• 12:07 a.m. Wednesday - Stone Alexander Lewis, 25, South Bend, arrested on two charges for misdemeanor failure to appear. Bond: $10,000.

• 1:11 a.m. Wednesday - Sydney Lee Alexander, 26, Dublin, Calif., arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Bond: $700.

• 1:43 a.m. Wednesday - Donovan Michael Halajian, 37, of 631 E. CR 700N, Leesburg, arrested for operating for a vehicle while intoxicated. Bond: $700.

• 1:45 a.m. Wednesday - Anthony Paul Banks, 45, Plymouth, arrested for felony failure to appear. No bond set.

• 1:56 a.m. Wednesday - Michael Andres Compton, 25, of 1627 Husky Trail, Warsaw, arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Bond: $700.

• 2:30 a.m. Wednesday - Ryan Joshua McKinney, 26, Columbia City, arrested for felony failure to appear. Bond: $5,000.

• 2:26 p.m. Tuesday - Intersection of East U.S. 30 and East CR 200N, Warsaw. SUV-car collision. Drivers: Kyra J. McDonald, 19, South Bend; Robert C. Riewoldmat, 63, North CR 150W, Warsaw. Damage: $1,000-$2,500. WPD.

• 12:39 a.m. Wednesday - Intersection of East Old 30 and South CR 250E, Warsaw. Car left roadway and hit utility post marking a NIPSCO/ATT gas line and fiber cable, a boulder and landscaping greenery and a fence. Driver: Michael A. Compton, 25, Husky Trail, Warsaw. Damage: $10,000-$25,000. WPD.

• 12:14 p.m. Tuesday - A traffic stop occurred for a person who was operating a motor vehicle without ever obtaining a license in the 100 block of South Scott Street, Warsaw. WPD.

• 2:03 a.m. Wednesday - A person was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated in the 200 block of East CR 700N, Leesburg. KCSO.

• 3:08 p.m. Tuesday - An animal bite was reported in the 2500 block of Walton Boulevard, Warsaw. WPD.

• 12:23 a.m. Wednesday - A person was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated in the 2500 block of East Old 30, Warsaw. KCSO.

• 2:10 a.m. Wednesday - A person was arrested for driving a motor vehicle while suspended with a prior suspended in the 100 block of Huntington Street, Syracuse. Syracuse Police Department investigated.

Divide And Conquer
Editor, Times-Union: It is glaringly obvious to anyone with functioning brain cells that today’s MAGA (formerly known as the Grand Old Party) has only one strategy to win the 2024 election: divide and conquer and pull the wool over the voting public’s eyes. Their playbook consists of misinformation, distortion of facts, projections, conspiracy theories and plain old bald-faced lies. If they cannot find damning evidence of lawlessness or evil deeds in their opponents’ resumes, they just make something up: Kamala’s intelligence or race, Tim’s real pet dog or his mysterious connection to China; Biden’s unwillingness to help America’s catastrophe victims.
