• 3:47 p.m. Monday - Shanice Lanae Logan, 29, of 408 N. Ninth St., North Manchester, arrested for felony probation violation. No bond set.

• 4 p.m. Monday - Nicolas David Brown, 32, of 1903 S. West Point Drive, Warsaw, arrested for misdemeanor battery. Bond: $600.

• 6:21 a.m. Tuesday - Christina Marie Coffing, 37, of 5918 E. Pierceton Road, Pierceton, arrested for domestic battery with moderate bodily injury. Bond: $6,000.

• 7 p.m. Monday - North CR 400E, 2,700 feet north of East CR 300N, Warsaw. Car crossed centerline, doing landscaping damage and hitting a fence and house. Driver: James S. Gall, 91, EMS T26B Lane, Leesburg. Injury: Gall was pronounced dead at a hospital. Damage: $10,000-$25,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated.

• 3:58 p.m. Monday - 501 S. Jefferson St., Silver Lake. Car hit unknown vehicle and tried to avoid hitting the car again and ran into a building. Remaining Driver: Shawn D. Elder, 27, East U.S. 30, Pierceton. Damage: $1,000-$2,500.KCSO.

• 7:35 p.m. Monday - 4097 N. Ind. 13, North Webster. Two-SUV collision. Drivers: Julie A. Larson, 54, EMS B25 Lane, Pierceton; Campbell A. Kinnaman, 17, Anderson. Damage: $1,000-$2,500. North Webster Police Department investigated.

• 12:21 a.m. Monday - An investigation was done for a person operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated in the 400 block of North Dolan Drive, Syracuse. KCSO.

• 2:50 a.m. Monday - A welfare check was done in the 300 block of North Park Avenue, Warsaw. Warsaw Police Department investigated.

• 10:20 a.m. Monday - Criminal mischief was reported in the 6900 block of East May Lane, Leesburg. KCSO.

• 2:44 p.m. Monday - A bag containing change was reported stolen in the 1800 block of East Market Street, Warsaw. WPD.

• 5:12 a.m. Tuesday - Domestic battery with moderate bodily injury was reported in the 500 block of Sophie Lane, Warsaw. WPD.

• 5:25 p.m. Friday - A person was arrested for driving while suspended with a prior suspension in the 2700 block of West CR 900S, Silver Lake. Claypool Police Department investigated.

• 6:12 p.m. Friday - A physical altercation was reported in the 300 block of North Colfax Street, Warsaw. WPD.

• 6:50 p.m. Friday - A  person was arrested for possession of cocaine or a narcotic drug and possession of a hypodermic syringe or needle in the 600 block Walter Way, Warsaw. WPD.

• 6:50 p.m. Friday - A death investigation was opened in the 600 block of Walter Way, Warsaw. WPD.

• 7:39 p.m. Friday - A cell phone was reported found in the 100 block of South Buffalo Street, Warsaw. WPD.

• 1:27 a.m. Saturday - A person was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia and operating a vehicle while intoxicated in the 1000 block of South Logan Street, Warsaw. WPD.

• 12:39 p.m. Saturday - A bicycle was reported found in the 700 block of East Market Street, Warsaw. WPD.

• 1:23 p.m. Saturday - A hit-and-run accident was reported in the 4900 block of South Ind. 13, Pierceton. CPD.

• 4:10 p.m. Saturday - A person arrested for operating a motor vehicle without ever obtaining a license in the 2600 block of East Center Street, Warsaw. WPD.

• 9:50 a.m. Sunday - Fireworks and money were reported stolen in the 700 block of South Main Street, North Webster. NWPD.

• 12:01 p.m. Sunday - A warrant was served in the 100 block of Pike Shore Drive, Warsaw. WPD.

• 2:37 p.m. Sunday - Suspicious activity was reported in the 1100 block of Executive Drive, Warsaw. WPD.

• 5:31 p.m. Sunday - Merchandise was reported stolen from Walmart in the 2500 block of Walton Boulevard, Warsaw. WPD.

• 1:18 p.m. Monday - Theft of a motor vehicle was reported in the 700 block of East Winona Avenue, Warsaw. WPD.

Divide And Conquer
Editor, Times-Union: It is glaringly obvious to anyone with functioning brain cells that today’s MAGA (formerly known as the Grand Old Party) has only one strategy to win the 2024 election: divide and conquer and pull the wool over the voting public’s eyes. Their playbook consists of misinformation, distortion of facts, projections, conspiracy theories and plain old bald-faced lies. If they cannot find damning evidence of lawlessness or evil deeds in their opponents’ resumes, they just make something up: Kamala’s intelligence or race, Tim’s real pet dog or his mysterious connection to China; Biden’s unwillingness to help America’s catastrophe victims.
