Beverly Ann “Campy” Sahagun, of Warsaw, passed at 4:15 p.m. on Monday, July 5, 2021, at Paddock Springs in Warsaw. She was strong, however, time had simply worn her down.

She was born Beverly Ann Harp on June 11, 1933, on the farm outside Sidney to Ted and Martha Harp. She was married on January 19, 1951, to Louis A Sahagun from Chicago. He passed on Jan. 12, 1992.

She was a homemaker to her three children, while starting their lives in Chicago. The family moved to Warsaw in 1966, where she started her working career at Blue Bell. She found a telephone operator opening at United Telephone Co. of Indiana and proudly carried the torch for the next 20-plus years, retiring in 1992.

Survivors include a daughter, Gail Sahagun Zaeske, Milwaukee, Wis.; sons: Steve and Rick Sahagun, of Warsaw; sister, Karen Sue (Newell) Clouse, Nappanee; four grandchildren: Andrea, Andrew, Emily and Jordan; and four great-grandchildren: Jace, Ayla, Hudson and Billie.

She was preceded to the other side by her husband, Louis; brother, Roger; parents: Ted and Martha; and son-in-law, William Zaeske.

Per Campy’s wishes, no memorial is planned at this time. Campy will be missed by family, friends and by all the lives she touched in her lifetime. We’re all grateful!

Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. Ind. 15, Warsaw, is entrusted with Campy’s care.
