• 1:58 p.m. Thursday - Eden R. Pruitt, 20, homeless, arrested for domestic battery - simple assault, possession of marijuana/hash oil/hashish and possession of paraphernalia. No bond set.

• 2:43 p.m. Thursday - Austin Zachary Vuittonet, 28, of 1484 Dove Lane, Milford, arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Bond: $700.

• 8:40 p.m. Thursday - Terry Michael Hall, 51, of 6756 E. Old 30, Pierceton, arrested for misdemeanor failure to appear. No bond set.

• 10:48 a.m. Friday - Joseph Mwaura Waithira, 40, Huntington, arrested for attempted murder. Bond: $500,250.

• 1:04 p.m. Friday - Brooklynn Taylor Tucker, 28, Goshen, arrested for theft. Bond: $600.

• 1:55 p.m. Thursday - Intersection of East CR 200N and North CR 175E, Warsaw. Two-car collision. Driver: Sean A. Baird, 34, East Center Street, Warsaw; Will C. Allen, 20, North CR 175E, Warsaw. Damage: $2,500-$5,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated.

• 4:12 p.m. Thursday - Intersection of Ind. 13 and EMS B9 Lane, Warsaw. Pickup hit several mailboxes. Driver: Cameron D. Sapp, 18, South Ind. 13, Pierceton. Damage: $1,000-$2,500. KCSO.

• 5:49 p.m. Thursday- East Main Street, 30 feet west of North Harrison Street, Syracuse. Two-car collision. Drivers: Anita K. Bjella, 78, North Lake Street, Syracuse; Jan Moore, 63, East CR 1050N, Cromwell. Damage: $2,500-$5,000. Syracuse Police Department investigated.

• 9:39 p.m. Thursday - Intersection of South County Farm Road and West CR 600S, Warsaw. Car hit deer. Driver: Kaytlyn M. Zeller, 22, Huntington. Damage: $2,500-$5,000. KCSO.

Divide And Conquer
Editor, Times-Union: It is glaringly obvious to anyone with functioning brain cells that today’s MAGA (formerly known as the Grand Old Party) has only one strategy to win the 2024 election: divide and conquer and pull the wool over the voting public’s eyes. Their playbook consists of misinformation, distortion of facts, projections, conspiracy theories and plain old bald-faced lies. If they cannot find damning evidence of lawlessness or evil deeds in their opponents’ resumes, they just make something up: Kamala’s intelligence or race, Tim’s real pet dog or his mysterious connection to China; Biden’s unwillingness to help America’s catastrophe victims.
