On Jan. 7, the District II Future Farmers of America Chapter meeting contest was held at Tippecanoe Valley High School. Teams had to demonstrate how to run an official meeting using opening ceremonies, business items of a meeting while demonstrating the use of many parliamentary procedure motions. The Tippecanoe Valley FFA team came in first place and will compete in the Section Contest on Feb. 13 at Triton High School for a chance to advance to the state finals. The team is coached by Michael Jones, TVHS FFA advisor.
