Herbert A. “Tony” Munson, age 74, of Warsaw, passed away Thursday, Feb. 11, 2021, at 11:01 a.m. in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.

He was the son of Gael D. and Herberta I. Robinson Munson. Tony was a graduate of Warsaw Community High School. Additionally, he attended Northwood Institute, Midland, Mich. From 1964 to 1980, he was employed by Munson Chevrolet of Warsaw. From 1982 to 2004, he was the owner of Tony’s Detail, Warsaw, and retired in 2004. Tony was an avid fisherman and accomplished bowler. Furthermore, he was noted to be a “Pool Shark” on any billiards table.

He survived by a brother, Gael D. Munson III, of Warsaw; and a sister, Madeline Elaine Call, of Winona Lake.

Visitation hours are scheduled from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 17 in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. A private interment service will be held in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw. Due to current COVID-19 recommendations, masks are required. The public is kindly requested to provide their own. Social distancing is strongly encouraged. No food permitted at this time.
