A number of area high school girls hoopsters have been honored for their academic excellence by the Indiana Coaches of Girls Sports Association.

Warsaw’s senior trio of Kensie Ryman, Audrey Grimm and Kendall Wayne capped off their outstanding careers on the hardwood by demonstrating they are just as capable in the classroom.

Wawasee’s Danielle Jenkins and Tate Cowan were also recognized for their academic prowess, as was Jaelyn Bules of Triton.

The ICGSA has been committed to athletic excellence in Indiana for 45 years, promoting female athletes in ten different sports since 1972.
