The incoming class was 30% larger than last year’s, and Grace Online already surpassed its forecasted number of deposited students for the 2021 summer semester. The school attributes the growth to its simple application process, flexible workload and competitive pricing, according to a news release from Grace College.
"Last May, we reduced the price of our online degrees by an average of 19.5% to remove financial hurdles for online learners, and our tuition remains the lowest among schools of its kind,” said Kourtney Sumner, director of graduate and online admissions at Grace. “In fact, our MA of clinical mental health counseling is the most affordable CACREP-accredited online program nationwide.”
With the surge of growth, the school has seen an increased interest in its Master of Arts of clinical mental health counseling, as well as its bachelor degree-completion programs. The degree-completion programs enable adult learners with at least 60 credits to finish their bachelor’s degree online at a manageable pace, stated the release.
“Grace is extremely transfer-friendly,” said Sumner. “For those who have logged years of practical work since starting their degree, we accept their relevant hands-on experiences as college credit.”
The institution also has a transfer agreement with Ivy Tech. Graduates from Ivy Tech can transfer their credits to Grace and complete their degree in two years. In addition, Ivy Tech graduates can receive a $100 discount for every credit hour they take to complete their bachelor’s degree at Grace.
Bachelor degree completion programs include psychology, business administration, ministry leadership and human services. Grace’s master’s degrees include Master of Business Administration, Master of Science of higher education, Master of Science of nonprofit management, Master of Science of ministry studies, Master of Science of athletic administration, Master of Arts of clinical mental health counseling and intense tntervention graduate licensure.
“There is a real opportunity to seize the moment and pursue online education right now. Whether you’re a working single, a stay-at-home parent or a full-time parent and employee, you don’t have to put your life on hold to pursue your education. Grace has made a way for you to keep the life you have while working toward the future you want,” said Sumner.
