Karen Sue Vanover, 68, of Pierceton, passed away at 6:54 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 29, 2021, at Kosciusko Community Hospital in Warsaw.

She was born on April 17, 1952, in Warsaw, to Aldon B. and Dona Jean Whetstone Scott.

She attended Warsaw Community High School and was a lifetime Warsaw/Pierceton area resident. She was married to Ron Keith Vanover, who preceded her in death. She was a homemaker, retired from Mason Healthcare & Rehab in Warsaw after 10 years and formerly worked at Maple Leaf Farms in Milford.

She is survived by three daughters: Kelly (Vanover) McKinzie, of Indianapolis; Kathy Vanover, of Warsaw; and Melissa (Tim) Trueblood, of Nappanee; son, Brandon Vanover, of Pierceton; four grandchildren: Kaylen, Amaya, Andrea and Skylar; great-granddaughter, Addison; sister, Peggy Timbers, of Cocoa Beach, Fla.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. Ind. 15, Warsaw. A private celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
