• 2:28 p.m. Monday - Zachary Alan Naish, 29, of 7889 E. CR 1000N, Syracuse, arrested for domestic battery in the presence of a child less than 16. Bond: $6,000.

• 7:50 a.m. Monday - 2101 Dubois Drive, Warsaw. Mo-ped-pickup collision. Drivers: Michael C. Nicholson, 49, Dot Street, Warsaw; Kelly J. Rietman, 33, West Lewis Street, South Whitley. Injury: Nicholson complained of head pain. Damage: Less than $750. Warsaw Police Department investigated.

• 3:43 p.m. Monday - East Center Street, 120 feet west of Cleveland Street, Warsaw. Two-car collision. Drivers: Jonathan Lockridge, 32, East Market Street, Warsaw; Ely J. Wendt, 24, South Ind. 19, Mentone. Damage: $1,000-$2,500. WPD.

• 8:01 p.m. Monday - East CR 450N, 200 feet west of Chapman Lake Drive, Warsaw. Car hit deer. Driver: Willa M. Taylor, 65, West Crystal Flash Road, North Webster. Damage: $2,500-$5,000. KCSO.

• 9:50 p.m. Monday - Intersection of South CR 400E and East CR 700S, Warsaw. SUV hit Kosciusko REMC utility pole. Driver: Ashley S. McCowen, 38, South Ind. 13, North Manchester. Damage: $10,000-$25,000. KCSO.

Get To Know The Team: Warsaw Captains Q&A
Earlier this week, I had the privilege of going to a Warsaw football practice and speaking with four of the team’s five captains. With so much having been written in recent weeks about their performance on the field, and rightfully so, I wanted to peel back the curtain a bit and ask them some questions about themselves.
