Warsaw, Valley Also Get Threats

A social media threat targeting Tippecanoe Valley and Warsaw Community School corporations was reported to authorities Friday. In conjunction with the respective educational administrators, school resource officers and the Warsaw Police Department, detectives are actively investigating the matter, according to a news release from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office.
Wawasee Schools had a social media threat made against the high school on Snap Chat Friday and students were sent home early Friday.
Wawasee Superintendent Dr. Stephen Troyer said about 4:30 p.m. Friday as of that time, there was no evidence the threat was credible.
Requests for further information from WCS and TVSC went unanswered as of deadline Sunday.
