It has come to the attention of Warsaw Community Schools that a nationwide threat was posted to multiple social media outlets. The Warsaw Police Department has worked with surrounding law enforcement agencies and has reported no known credible threat to Warsaw Community Schools, according to a news release from WCS. School administration will continue to monitor the situation. Local law enforcement will increase their presence at WCS for the remainder of the week.

This is an educational opportunity for parents across this nation to have a conversation with their children about the appropriate use of social media, the release states. Student and staff safety is the top priority for WCS. Anyone with a safety concern can report it to TIPLINE. If you see something, say something at 1-833-300STOP.
