• 3:37 a.m. Sunday - Thomas Scott Landers Jr., 29, Elkhart, arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Bond: $700.

• 4:21 a.m. Saturday - East CR 350N, 33 feet west of North Saddlebrook Lane, Warsaw. Pickup hit deer. Driver: Emmanuel R. Long, 30, EMS C28E Lane, Warsaw. Damage: $2,500-$5,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated.

• 2:45 p.m. Saturday - Intersection of East U.S. 30 and East CR 200N, Warsaw. Car-pickup collision. Drivers: Michael E. Stafford, 22, McClellanville, S.C.; Jonathan R. Green, 49, Churubusco. Damage: $750-$1,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated.

• 4:43 p.m. Saturday - Intersection of Ind. 15 and East Main Street, Warsaw. Three-vehicle collision. Drivers: Todd N. Beisiegel, 53, Belleville, Ill.; Michael R. Thomas, 57, North Fort Wayne Avenue, Warsaw; Garrett H. Jones, 32, South Ind. 15, Warsaw. Damage: $10,000-$25,000. WPD.

• 9:08 p.m. Saturday - North Ind. 13, 200 feet north of North Syracuse-Webster Road, North Webster. Car hit deer. Driver: Jennie L. Reyes, 39, East Hunnicutt Drive, Syracuse. Damage: $1,000-$2,500. KCSO.

• 12:04 a.m. Sunday - South CR 700W, 10 feet south of West CR 1250S, Akron. Car hit deer. Driver: Joseph A. Ball, 19, Rochester. Damage: $1,000-$2,500. KCSO.

Get To Know The Team: Warsaw Captains Q&A
Earlier this week, I had the privilege of going to a Warsaw football practice and speaking with four of the team’s five captains.
