MILFORD – Thomas L. Morehouse, 78, of Milford, passed away at 10:25 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 27, 2021, at his home after a brief illness.

He was born on Feb. 14, 1943, in Warsaw, to Nelson and Betty Pinkerton Morehouse. On May 29, 1961, he married Joyce Rassi, who preceded him in death on Dec. 1, 2012.

Tom was a toolmaker for Zimmer in Warsaw before his retirement. He enjoyed looking at old cars and tractors and learning as much as he could about them.

Surviving are a daughter, Tomi Sue Kauffman; son, Sam (spouse Brenda) Morehouse; daughter, Rhonda (spouse Eric) Long; five grandchildren: Thomas Kauffman, Bridget Long, Erika Long, Samantha Morehouse and Kyle Morehouse; two great-grandchildren: Ben Kauffman and Max Kauffman. Also surviving is a sister, Carolyn (spouse Blake) Baumgartner.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nelson and Betty; and his wife, Joyce.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

He will be missed by family and friends. Arrangements were entrusted to Mishler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Milford.
