• 2:36 p.m. Wednesday - Bernard Francis Oberine, 48, Elkhart, arrested for failure to appear – infraction and nonsupport of a dependant/child violations. Bond: $5,783.

• 2:47 p.m. Wednesday - Nathaniel Larry Yoder, 33, of 107 EMS W23 Lane, North Webster, arrested for possession of marijuana/hash oil/hashish with a prior. Bond: $5,000.

• 3:06 p.m. Wednesday - Carolyn Rosanne Oberine, 35, Elkhart, arrested for a failure to appear – infraction and nonsupport of a dependant/child violations. Bond: $5,363.

• 5:53 p.m. Wednesday - Kenton Asher Secor, 42, of 11379 N. CR 250E, Milford, arrested for theft. Bond: $5,500.

• 10:17 p.m. Wednesday - Christopher James Solley-Mead, 40, of 8096 E. Pioneer Way, North Webster, arrested for resisting law enforcement and on a warrant. No bond set.

• 11:47 p.m. Wednesday - Leah Marie Vining, 36, of 9613 S. County Farm Road, Claypool, arrested for possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia. No bond set.

• 1:10 a.m. Thursday - Curtis Wayne Hunley, 48, of 41 EMS T16B Lane, Leesburg, arrested for felony failure to appear. No bond set.

• 11:11 a.m. Thursday - Juan Mendoza, 40, of 918 E. Winona Ave., Warsaw, arrested for domestic battery in the presence of a child less than 16. Bond: $6,000.

• 11:24 a.m. Thursday - Joshua Allen Schroeder, 40, of 212 E. Emeline St., Milford, arrested on a warrant. No bond listed.

• 5:07 a.m. Thursday - South CR 300E, 1,500 feet north of East CR 500S, Warsaw. Car hit deer. Driver: Victoria L. Tharp, 31, East Walnut Street, Claypool. Damage: $5,000-$10,000. KCSO.

Get To Know The Team: Warsaw Captains Q&A
Earlier this week, I had the privilege of going to a Warsaw football practice and speaking with four of the team’s five captains. With so much having been written in recent weeks about their performance on the field, and rightfully so, I wanted to peel back the curtain a bit and ask them some questions about themselves.
