Warsaw Boys Soccer Shuts Out Argos For First Win Of 2021

The Tigers were led by junior Roberto Sanchez, who scored two goals in the game. Senior Johnathan West and sophomore. Noah VanPluffelen also added goals in the victory. Goalkeeper Miles Burkholder got a shutout victory, stopping the two shots sent his way.
In junior varsity action, Warsaw earned a 6-0 win over the Dragons. Lukas Moody, Marcelo Cuahuizo, Benjamin Rodriguez, Mason Smythe, David Montoya and Christian Malagon each scored goals in the winning effort. Goalkeepers Nehemiah Wright and Raul Carbajal combined efforts for the shutout.
The Tigers (1-1) next play at 7 p.m. tonight, travelling to South Bend St. Joseph at Northfield Complex.
