David Carl Ellis, 84, Warsaw, died at 5:49 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 12, 2021, at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home in Fort Wayne.

He was born on May 22, 1937, in Warsaw, to Hazel York Ellis and Edgar Ellis. On May 2, 1956, he married Ruth Elaine Grubbs.  

David’s life will be celebrated at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 19 at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw, and officiated by Rev. Jerry Yoder.  Friends and family may visit prior to the service from 2 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorial donations may be directed to Animal Welfare League of Kosciusko County, 1048 S. 325 W., Pierceton, IN 46562 and would be appreciated by the family.
