What’s Wrong With Peter Pan?

I’ve learned that waking up in the morning does not mean you are WOKE. The constant mantra of Wokeness has now permeated our lexicon. However, don’t for a minute think this is some college hijinks, a handful of college students trying to find something to do over summer vacation. The “thing” that our media, corporations, as well as our politicians, seem to fall into agreement with and support of is not a fad. It is something that has been in the making for almost 100 years.
Wokeness has not just started, it’s nestled a place in our education system since 1923. It seems that disciples of Marx and Engel, two founders of Communism, were professors at Frankfurt University. They were perplexed that the Communist theory of government never caught on in the western world. They determined that three things stopped it: the west cherished family, religion and freedom. So they packed their bags and came to the promised land to try and influence the freedom and basic care for one another in a melting pot of ethnic and racial diversity. They recognized the best way to impose their influence was through the education system and here we are.
They first entered into our colleges, Columbia University in the beginning, injecting their beliefs of “critical race theory.” Their teachings identified a racist construct to capitalism, finally pitting the haves and have nots against one another. Yes, the riots, looting and burning that went on in the cities the past summer were not a cry for “social justice,” whatever that means. It was the consecration of an education system indoctrinating our children to hate this country for the last 80 years. This infection of our children’s minds goes on today. The idea of teaching math, reading and science has long ago passed. Our public schools, all the way from K-12 and well into higher education, has been going through George Orwell’s vision in his book “1984.” A constant analysis of our traditions, holidays, social events and even our reference to mom and dad have fallen victim to Wokeism.
The unholy attack on everything we used to find comforting has seemed to come without notice, but we must admit our complacency. We now see our leaders kneeling at the alter of a new religion. The vacuum left by our gradual abandonment of Christianity has been filled by “Wokeism.” A religion which has outlawed Dr. Seuss, Felix the cat, some of our favorite pastimes, along with Peter Pan ... they never even asked us how we felt about it.
