SOUTH WHITLEY – Whitko Jr./Sr. High School announced its 2021 valedictorian is Luke Rhoades and its salutatorian is Abigail Arter.

Luke is the son of Greg and Michelle Rhoades, South Whitley. His college plans are to study animation at Huntington University.

His high school activities included marching band, concert band, jazz band, pep band, spring musical and fall play.

Abigail is the daughter of Dale and Tonya Arter, Warsaw. Her college plans are to study finance at Grace College.

Her high school activities included National Honor Society, golf, tennis, SADD, student council, academic team, softball manager, Champions Together and Whitley County Youth Leadership.

Graduation is scheduled for 7 p.m. June 4, with a rain date of June 5, at the Whitko football stadium.
