Goshen Health Offers Heart Failure Support Group At Greencroft

The monthly meeting will feature discussion of a self-check plan for recognizing worsening symptoms of heart failure, including the American Heart Association action plan for worsening symptoms, according to a news release.
Written information will be available for attendees to take home, including a self-check plan as well as a handout on procedures that may help heart failure. Masks are required, and social distancing will be observed.
The heart failure support group is free and open to anyone with heart failure and their families and is a place to share common experiences and concerns in a supportive and friendly group atmosphere, according to the release.
A clinical nurse specialist will be available to answer questions about managing heart failure. The group meets at the same time on the second Thursday of every month at Greencroft Community Center. Registration is not necessary. To learn more, call 574-364-2871.
