Redwood Tax Specialists was featured by Fortune magazine last month.

On Wednesday, Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Redwood Tax Specialists office at 523 S. Buffalo St., Warsaw.

In an interview after the ribbon-cutting, Managing Director Terry DuPont said he was able to obtain a financial interest in Redwood Tax Specialists.

“It’s a national, tax-reduction planning firm for business owners and affluent families,” he said. “It is a part of our family office experience of ... Dupont Wealth Management, which I own.”

DuPont said for business owners and affluent families, “We reduce taxes by 50% almost 100% of the time.”

The office’s internal staff has four employees, but Redwood’s strategic partners numbers in the hundreds, scattered all across the United States.

“It’s part of our family office experience where we bring the best local and national experts in the industry of tax risk and expenses in legal matters to the table,” DuPont said.

He is a chartered retirement plans specialist, certified wealth preservation planner and certified philanthropic developer, according to a March 26, 2019, story online at prnewswire.com. He co-authored “Retire Abundantly,” offering business owners, executives and professionals “wisdom, advice and principles on how to reduce income taxes and estate taxes to create a greater lifestyle and legacy,” the story states.
