NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING OF THE CITY OF WARSAW, INDIANA, REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION REGARDING AMENDMENTS TO THE CONSOLIDATED NORTHERN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AREA DECLARATORY RESOLUTION AND PLAN

    Notice is hereby given that the City of Warsaw, Indiana, Redevelopment Commission (the “Commission”) will conduct a public hearing on October 5, 2020, at 4:00 p.m. local time, in the Council Chambers at Warsaw City Hall, 102 S. Buffalo Street, Warsaw, Indiana, to consider proposed amendments to Resolution No. 2018-09-01 previously adopted by the Commission (the “2018 Resolution”) that established the Consolidated Northern Economic Development Area (the “Economic Development Area”) and adopted an economic development plan for the Economic Development Area (the “Plan”). The proposed amendments, which have been preliminarily approved by resolution of the Commission (the “2020 Resolution”), would amend the 2018 Resolution and the Plan to designate Nextremity Solutions, Inc., as a designated taxpayer pursuant to Indiana Code 36-7-14-39.3 and to include an additional project in the Plan, all as further described in the 2020 Resolution.

    Written remonstrances against the proposed amendments may be filed by no later than 2:30 p.m. local time on October 5, 2020, in the office of the Commission, Warsaw City Hall, 102 S. Buffalo Street, Warsaw, Indiana 46580.

    At the public hearing, the Commission will hear any person interested in the proceedings and will consider all written remonstrances and objections that have been filed and will determine the public utility and benefit of the proposed amendments. The 2020 Resolution and maps and plats for the Economic Development Area can be inspected at the office of the Commission at the address listed above.
