• 4:20 p.m. Tuesday - Billie Jean Merlau, 54, of 303 E. North Kitson Lane, Syracuse, arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Bond: $700.

• 10:25 a.m. Wednesday - Cameron J. Harshaw, 28, South Bend, arrested for felony probation violation, misdemeanor failure to appear and theft. Bond: $1,100.

• 11:30 a.m. Wednesday - Tyler J. Sherrill, 18, of 888 N. Old Orchard Drive, Warsaw, arrested for misdemeanor probation violation and criminal mischief. Bond: $50.

• 12:41 p.m. Wednesday - Jamaine I. Smith, 22, Dayton, Ohio, arrested for misdemeanor failure to appear. Bond: $5,000.

• 6:12 p.m. Wednesday - Christina J. Kreider, 50, of 8792 S. Sunnyside Lane, Silver Lake, arrested for operating a motor vehicle while being a habitual traffic violator. Bond: $5,250.

• 4:01 p.m. Wednesday - Tiffany R. Hurley, 28, Fort Wayne, arrested on a warrant. No bond listed.

• 9:10 p.m. Wednesday - Austin J. Newsome, 21, of 180 S. CR 400W, Warsaw, arrested for domestic battery in the presence of a child less than 16. Bond: $5,250.

• 7:19 a.m. Wednesday - East CR 300N, 50 feet west of CR 100E, Warsaw. Van hit mailbox owned by Jeffrey C. Tosch, East CR 300N, Warsaw. Driver: Amanda M. Ponko, 28, East CR 350N, Warsaw. Damage: $1,000-$2,500. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated.

• 12:54 p.m. Wednesday - Intersection of North First and East Market streets, Pierceton. Two-pickup collision. Drivers: Jacob M. Denzer, 17, East CR 150S, Pierceton; Janeen M. Pierr, 48, Kendallville. Damage: $5,000-$10,000. KCSO.

• 6:35 a.m. Wednesday - A death investigation was opened in the 8500 block of South CR 400E, Claypool. KCSO.

• 11:03 a.m. Wednesday - A warrant was served in the 200 block of South James Street, Milford. Milford Police Department investigated.

• 12:25 p.m. Wednesday - Police responded to the 3500 block of North CR 400E, Warsaw, for a report of a damaged mailbox. KCSO.

• 5:12 p.m. Wednesday - Public intoxication was reported in the 1000 block of East Center Street, Warsaw. Warsaw Police Department investigated.

• 5:28 p.m. Wednesday - A firearm was reported found in the woods in the 11600 block of North Ind. 13, Syracuse. KCSO.

• 2:35 a.m. Thursday - A person was arrested in the 400 block of South Union Street, Warsaw, for possession of a syringe and on a warrant. WPD.

• 6:29 a.m. Thursday - A person was arrested in the 3300 block of East Center Street, Warsaw, for possession of methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia and criminal trespass. WPD.
