Silveus Insurance Focusing Growth At Warsaw Campus

"Indiana has a rich tradition in agriculture, with the industry contributing more than $31 billion annually to the state’s economy," said Indiana Secretary of Commerce Jim Schellinger. "We’re grateful for Silveus Insurance Group’s decision to continue scaling its operations in Indiana and delivering critical services to Hoosier farmers, and we’re excited to support the company’s growth and success in Kosciusko County for years to come."
Silveus Insurance Group is a fourth-generation, closely held crop insurance agency based in Warsaw, which is home to a well-established agribusiness sector featuring numerous nationally known businesses, the release states. The company has acquired sites and buildings surrounding its Mariners Drive headquarters and will continue to invest in developing its corporate campus, which will allow the company to maintain its employment base in Kosciusko County while continuing to grow sales nationally.
"For more than 75 years, Silveus Insurance Group has focused on customer service and constant innovation to serve our clients’ unique needs," said Silveus Insurance Group Board Chair Craig Snow. "After considering a number of options in the area, we are excited to continue to grow our business, our culture and our team at our Warsaw campus."
Silveus Insurance Group currently employs 56 team members in Warsaw and others at five satellite locations and has already begun hiring to meet emerging needs. Positions are announced on the company’s website at silveuscropins.com.

The Indiana Economic Development Corporation offered Silveus Insurance Group up to $520,000 in conditional tax credits and up to $80,000 in conditional training grants based on the company’s job creation plans. These incentives are performance-based, meaning the company is eligible to claim incentives once Hoosiers are hired. The City of Warsaw will consider additional incentives at the request of KEDCO.
